The beating heart of the neighbourhood

Richmond offers plenty of options for dining and shopping, but the days you don’t feel like venturing far from home, Richmond Square’s precinct brings it all to your doorstep.

Whether you’re planning a morning coffee, a long lunch, a twilight dinner, an after-dinner nightcap, or your next beauty appointment, the Richmond Square precinct has you covered. The curation of the ground-floor precinct received the same level of intention as the residences above it, and has been specifically designed to become Richmond’s most convenient destination in its own right.

Richmond’s Best precinct destination

The ground-floor, alfresco dining precinct is framed by lush greenery to create a location where community thrives. Spearheading the dining offering is acclaimed restaurateur Guy Grossi, who will lead two Italian-leaning venues at Richmond Square.

Running both the precinct’s signature restaurant and an all-day dining venue, Grossi’s distinctly Melbourne touch will be woven into the fabric of the development. He will be joined by:

  • Salon Lane’s flagship Victorian location
  • Byrdi Bar

Salon Lane

The Victorian flagship venue of Australia’s leading shared workspace for independent hair, beauty and wellness professionals.

For entrepreneurs in the beauty, hair and wellness space, Salon Lane is a game-changing shared workspace that provides a supportive community of like-minded professionals and the chance to become independently successful. For customers, an appointment at Salon Lane means a convenient location and friendly, buzzy atmosphere.

Cocktails by Byrdi

Byrdi

A progressive, globally acclaimed cocktail bar opens its second location at Richmond Square.

Given its focus on hyper-seasonal flavours and sustainable native produce, no two visits to Byrdi will be the same. The award-winning cocktail list is constantly evolving alongside a snack menu, relaxed service, creative small plates, and local wines by the glass or bottle.

GUY GROSSI'S RESTAURANT

Guy Grossi helms Richmond Square’s signature restaurant, serving elevated Northern Italian cuisine.

Guy Grossi’s restaurant will serve comfortable yet elevated Italian fare designed ‘for the people’, and takes its inspiration from the north-western region of Piedmont. The region is industrial and boasted a proud working class back in the 1950s and ’60s; very fitting for a historically blue-collar suburb like Richmond.

THE FORTIS EXPERIENCE

Every Fortis development is designed to be more than a beautiful address. It’s about creating a genuine connection between people and place, with quality and attention to detail carried through every stage. From the first conversation to the day residents move in, our team takes a personal, hands-on approach to creating an exceptional experience and a home to be proud of. It’s what we call the Fortis touch.

The Gild, St Kilda

Expressive, lasting and soulful. The Gild presents a collection of 45 refined residences on Fitzroy Street, with a private rooftop overlooking the bay.

Designed with reverence for St Kilda’s golden era, with a signature café and deli on ground floor.

94 River, South Yarra

Curated residences just moments from the Yarra, 94 River’s contemporary architecture references the heritage of the street itself.

The development draws on the precinct’s industrial past with a refined balance of lush greenery and sweeping views.

Pillar+Tide, Brighton

Pillar+Tide embodies modern life effortlessly, with sixteen residences located just moments from Church Street and Brighton’s waterfront.

Indoors meets outdoors in this safe, tree-lined community—and the nearest coffee is just 160m from your doorstep.

Bower, South Yarra

Bower is a personal retreat in the heart of South Yarra’s action. Moments of simple pleasure dot the interiors and lush plants bring greenery indoors.

Designed thoughtfully by Fortis director Charles Mellick and Graham Morrison of Bruce Henderson Architects.
